I think that your Boss, if he will ever decide to fire you, is aware of the fact that he will start a new "Watergate"-like scandal: one titled "LinuxGate(s)". Why? Because, when one of the 50.000.000 line codes (or so) from Vista, will begin to create a catastrophic failure of the OS (running on a 0.731 BILLION parts of a Core i7 Processor), then you will come up with the "solution" called "Microsoft Linux" - as a free, open-source, alternative to Windows. Your Boss will make a crisis of paranoia, he will start to threaten you, etc., etc.
